This time last year Kanye West surprised his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian on her birthday by proposing in front of family and friends in hired San Francisco baseball stadium AT&T Park. This year, the rapper has kept his birthday message a little lower key, posting a touching note to his beloved wife on Twitter. "Happy Birthday baby! Thank you for being the dopest wife & mom!" the 37-year-old wrote alongside a photograph of Kim looking her typically sartorially-savvy self in a long-sleeved white top tucked into a long, flowy white skirt.
He then added to his near 11 million followers: "Sometimes I feel like just saying I love you isn't strong enough to express how much I love you…".Kim turned 34 on Tuesday 21 October. Her husband wasn't the only one to pay a loving tribute to the reality TV star, fashion designer and socialite. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, 58, also took to Instagram to praise her daughter. "Happy Birthday to my precious daughter, best friend, and partner in crime," she wrote. "You are the best daughter, wife, and mother and you have the biggest heart." Kris added in her caption, "You amaze me every single day and I am so blessed to have you to love. Enjoy your special day."
Kim's mum signed off with "I love you!" and added the hashtags for "love, family, happybirthday." Along with the message was a cute throwback photo of Kim as a little girl, her face painted to look like a cat. Her famous pout was made up with red lipstick and she had round red ruby cheeks painted in. She appeared to be around the age of three.Kim's sisters Khloé, Kourtney, and Kendall all joined in with photo collages, throwback snaps and adorable birthday messages throughout the day. Kourtney posted a photo of the two young sisters in pretty dresses standing in the kitchen and wrote: "Even though I was the bossiest older sister she could ask for, she always loved me. Happy birthday to…"
