Matthew Morrison first began performing in high school, and half way through college at the Tisch School of Arts he had already been perfroming regularly on Broadway and
soon dropped out to make his musical theatre debut in Footloose.This decision led to Matthew taking on the role of Link Larkin in the original 2002 Broadway production of
Hairspray, which was his big break. He stayed in the role for several years before leaving in 2005 to star in
The Light in the Piazza.It was for this performance that
Matthew was nominated for his first Tony award. While performing on stage Matthew also began working in TV and film, and in 2008 he won the role of Mr Schuester in a new TV comedy,
Glee.The 37-year-old played the school Spanish teacher who takes on the task of restoring the school's glee club to its former glory. Full of musical theatre numbers and dancing, the role was perfect for Matthew, and
