Britney Spears is said to have a new man in her life, two months after her split from David Lucado. According to numerous reports, the 32-year-old singer is dating producer and writer Charlie Ebersol – the son of Saturday Night Live co-creator and veteran TV producer Dick Ebersol.
"They met through friends," a source told E! News of the couple. "He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another. "They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together." Britney announced the end of her 17-month relationship with David in August, when she simply tweeted, "Ahhhh the single life." Prior to that, the mum-of-two was engaged to Jason Trawick for more than a year. The pair called off their romance in January 2013. "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement," Britney said in a statement at the time. "I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."
Jason added, "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys (Sean Preston and Jayden) and we will be close forever." Charlie, meanwhile, has previously been romantically linked to tennis star Maria Sharapova and Sophia Bush. He is best known for his TV series The Moment, devised to help men and women get a second chance on their dream careers. The show was developed following a devastating plane crash in 2004 which killed Charlie's younger brother Teddy, and seriously injured Charlie himself and his father. "When the plane crashed, I was so angry," Charlie told the Today show in April 2013. "I wasn't scared or sad… I was going to lose out on the opportunity to do all these things I loved that I wasn't doing."
