Eva Longoria has denied claims that she's engaged to her boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston. The former Desperate Housewives actress took to Twitter to address recent reports that she'll soon be walking down the aisle. "Why is everyone saying I'm getting married?" the 39-year-old tweeted. "#NotTrue #WhereDidThatComeFrom."
Her denial comes after Mexican journalist Rene Franco apparently claimed on show La Taquilla that Eva and TV network president Jose would wed "at Nayarit Beach in Mexico" in "February 2015". Eva has been married twice before; to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 until 2004, and basketball player Tony Parker from 2007 until 2010. Eva and Jose started dating two years ago, but prefer to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. In April, the brunette beauty did speak briefly about their romance during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"He's a good dresser. I always have to step it up. It's exhausting!" she joked, before adding that 45-year-old Jose is "über private". One month prior to that, Eva spoke to Parade magazine about the qualities she looks for in a man. "You know, in general, I'm attracted to humour and intellect in a man," she said. When asked whether her Mexico-based boyfriend had both of those things, she replied with a laugh, "Sure. Let me tell you, I'm very lucky in my life." Eva is currently over in London ahead of Monday night's Global Gift Gala– an annual charity event she chairs with singer Ricky Martin.
Her good friend Victoria Beckham is set to receive the Philanthropreneur award at the glitzy ceremony, and on Sunday, Eva swung by Victoria's new London store and posted a number of sweet photos taken with the designer and celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves.
