Justin Bieber has landed himself the top spot on Forbes' list of the highest-earning celebrities under 30, having earned an estimated $80million from June 2013 to June 2014. The star, who has made headlines more than once this year for his controversial behaviour, raked in the majority of his earnings after he finished up his second concert tour, Believe, on 8 December, 2013 which collected $69.9m from 67 shows.

Their latest album, Midnight Memories, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and the song Story Of My Life went multi-platinum. The boyband of the moment also scooped three gongs at this year's American Music Awards for artist of the year, favourite band, duo or group and favourite album for Midnight Memories.

In third place, Taylor Swift is the top-ranked woman with $64million in earnings. The 24-year-old's latest album 1989 sold a staggering 1.287 million copies in one week, marking the single largest sales week for one album since 2002, when Eminem’s The Eminem Show moved just over 1.3 million copies.At 29, Bruno Mars just squeezed onto the list in fourth place with $60million. Rihanna rounds off the top five with an estimated $48million while Jennifer Lawrence is the only actor who ranks on the under-30 list.
