Elsa Pataky and husband Chris Hemsworth have welcomed a new – and very cute – member to their brood. On Monday, mum-of-three Elsa uploaded a photo of an adorable, fluffy little puppy, with the caption, "Who could say no! Our new family member #cute #puppy." No doubt the couple's children will be very excited about the arrival of their first pet. Elsa and Chris have a two-year-old daughter, India Rose , and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, eight months.

The family's new addition comes days after it was revealed that Chris had been named People's Sexiest Man Alive. He was told the news during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week. "Thank you, I'm most excited about the alive portion of that statement, and the sexy part is a bonus," he joked. "This is based on an IQ test, and not just physical appearance," Chris added, before gesturing to his impressive physique and thanking his "parents for putting this together". Asked that his younger brother Liam Hemsworth thought of his win, he said, "Liam has been good, he's been a real team player for this one. We've been throwing sexy looks back and forth."

Elsa and Chris met through their management companies in 2010 and married that Christmas. "When I began seeing Chris I thought, 'This is what it means to have a relaxed relationship. Without any problems, without fighting'," the Spanish actress has previously said of their romance. "I love his personality and the fact he's a great father. That's what makes a women really love a man … Seeing him with India and knowing how much he wanted to have a family with me is what most attracted me to him."
