Susan Boyle has revealed that there is a new man in her life. The 53-year-old Britain's Got Talent star, who has previously admitted the her Asperger's syndrome makes forming relationships difficult, has said that she met an American doctor while she was on tour in the US.
In an interview with The Sun the I Dreamed a Dream singer said that she and the doctor were staying at the same hotel and enjoyed a romantic dinner together, during which he was the "perfect gentleman".

"It's very early days so we'll see what happens," said Susan.
"I hope he comes over [to the UK]. "I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him," she added.
"All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy." Susan, who is hoping her new love interest will visit her at her West Lothian home, previously spoke to HELLO! Magazine about living with Asperger's after years of believing she had learning difficulties due to being starved of oxygen at birth.

"Now that I know the correct reason why," she said. "I understand myself better and can move on. It feels as if an enormous weight has been lifted."
The message that I hope my revelation will give others is, if I can do it, so can you. No matter what your condition, you can do whatever you want."
The Scottish star has also spoken about her desire to adopt.
"I have so much love to give," she told the Sunday Mail. "I want to adopt a child who doesn't have much, who I can really give something to. We'll have to see what social services say, but it would make me so happy."
