George and Amal Clooney have denied reports that they are expecting their first child together. The newlyweds sparked pregnancy rumours this weekend as they were pictured leaving Soho House in Hollywood together after an evening out with friends. Amal was seen wearing a loose-fitting dress and at one point placed her hands above her stomach, causing observers to wonder whether she was cradling a baby bump. A rep for the couple told Us Weekly that the couple are not expecting a baby together. "Amal Clooney is not pregnant," the rep confirmed.
Amal and George Clooney have denied reports they are expecting their first child
This isn't the first time the couple have faced pregnancy rumours. In September the actor's rep once again denied that Amal was expecting George's child after she stepped out in Lake Como, Italy, wearing a loose maxi dress that gave the illusion of a bump due to windy conditions. The couple, who married in Venice in September, shared their wedding photos exclusively with HELLO! in conjunction with People magazine in the US. "My verdict on being Mr and Mrs Clooney? It feels pretty damn great," George told HELLO!. According to Us Weekly, Amal's father, Ramzi Alamuddin is keen for the couple to have children together and expressed his wishes at their Venetian wedding. "Now it's time for grandchildren," he reportedly told the crowd of family and friends, including Matt Damon, Bill Murray and U2 singer Bono.
