Simon Cowell, his partner Lauren Silverman and their baby son Eric made the perfect trio as they holidayed on the idyllic island of Barbados this week. The family jetted to one of their favourite holiday destinations for some winter sun after the grand finale of X Factor last weekend. Looking relaxed and happy, Simon is making the most of the Caribbean and of his girlfriend – he and Lauren enjoyed a tender kiss on the sandy beach as Lauren held their son in her arms.

The X Factor judge was in holiday mode in a pair of blue and white leaf printed shorts and a pair of his trademark Aviator sunglasses. Lauren, who has been Simon's other half since 2013, showed off her slim physique in casual beach attire. The 37-year-old channelled beach chic in a skirt, simple white vest top over a bikini, trilby and large sunglasses.

Their adorable son Eric was protected from the sun in a long-sleeved white top and navy shorts. The tot, who is already showing off jet black hair like his dad's, held on tight to his mum as the family made their way along the golden sands. Simon has plenty to celebrate this festive season, with his act Ben Haenow having just been crowned the winner of the latest series of X Factor.
