Justin Bieber is reportedly going to sleep rough to raise awareness for the homeless. The 20-year-old is said to have been urged by his manager Scooter Braun to spend a night of the streets of California in a bid to improve his public image. A source told the Daily Star that Scooter hopes that Justin can change his public perception following a tumultuous year which saw him get arrested and split from his girlfriend Selena Gomez. "[Scooter] has been trying to come up with a plan to give Justin's career some longevity," the source said. "As soon as Justin's fans grow up, it's a worry that he'll fall off the map. This seems like a solution."

Scooter and his family are big supporters of homeless charities, and his father Ervin Braun recently slept rough in New York to raise awareness for the cause. While it has been over a year since Justin released his last album, Journals, the singer has frequently made headlines throughout 2014 for his controversial behaviour. Justin also landed himself the top spot on Forbes' list of the highest-earning celebrities under 30, having earned an estimated $80 million from June 2013 to June 2014. Justin has not addressed the reports, but it appears he is making an effort to turn around his public image, as he has shared pictures of his return to the recording studio and said that he's "growing up". The star told Hustle TV: "I'm also growing up there's a lot of things that I'm going through and finding myself as a man, so it's going to be a great next chapter for me."
