Sir Elton John and David Furnish will celebrate their wedding on Sunday 21 December at their Windsor estate. On Saturday the Rocket Man hitmaker shared a picture of an invitation from the couple on Instagram, followed by photos of preparation for the big day.
"Please join us this Sunday @DavidFurnish and I will be posting special moments from our big day," Sir Elton captioned the picture of the invite. "#ShareTheLove #EltonJohn #DavidFurnish."
Later in the evening, 67-year-old Elton posted a photo of sons Zachary and Elijah's shoes by the fireplace.
"Our little ring bearers are fast asleep," he wrote. "And their shoes are polished and ready for tomorrow's celebration."
On Sunday, as the final touches were being made, Elton posted a photo of a garden with the caption: "Good morning! Nice day for a wedding. #ShareTheLove."
The couple's wedding day comes nine years to the day after they tied the knot in a civil partnership ceremony.
Numerous famous faces are expected at Sir Elton and David's nupitals including Victoria Beckham, Helena Bonham Carter and Sir Michael Caine, who all attended the civil ceremony at the Windsor Guildhall in 2005.
