She has a gilded lifestyle that many admire, but Angelina Jolie has admitted that marriage and raising children are hard work for her – just as they are for anyone else. In an interview with Australian Women's Weekly, the film star said she and husband Brad Pitt "work really hard" to make sure everyone in their family is okay.

"We work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected," says Angelina. "Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work. You have to really make sure that your work doesn't get in the way. That you don't do something that is going to put too much strain on your family."
The screen beauty said she loves being married and referring to Brad as her husband. However, while exchanging vows at their estate in France was very special, the mother of six wasn't too hung up on wedding planning, revealing she only chose the date two or three weeks before.

Her interview came as part of her promotional effort for Unbroken, the film about World War II hero Louis Zamperini, which she directed. The drama will appear on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, Angie had to miss the premiere because she got chicken pox, providing an example of the perils of having small children.
However, Angelina also cherishes the joy of family life, talking in her interivew about the giggles the Jolie-Pitts have with their children.
"They're six of the funniest people we have ever met in our lives. We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining."
