Clint Eastwood's divorce from second wife Dina is finalised

December 24, 2014

Clint Eastwood is officially divorced. The 84-year-old actor and Dina Eastwood have finalised their separation, according to court documents filed in Monterey, California on Monday. The pair married in 1996 and have one child together, daughter Morgan, 18. Their split was confirmed in August 2013, and by then the couple had already been living apart for some time. Dina then filed for legal separation that September.

Several sources said the marriage started to suffer when they family started filming the reality show, Mrs Eastwood and Company in 2012. Oscar-winner Clint, who has six other children, was only an occasional guest star. "Clint was furious about the show," a source told People. "It went against everything he stands for; he's incredibly private, and she put his kids on TV… It was not a happy time for them." The couple seem to have remained on good terms since their split, however. Just a year ago, Dina called her ex "the sweetest guy" in an interview on TV chat show Bethenny.

"I don't think we will be getting back together," the 49-year-old said. "That is why I filed for divorce. I think maybe a part of me was holding out, like, 'What are we doing here?' Then there have been some definite signs that we're not going to get back together, so let's move on amicably is my opinion…"

Asked how Clint was handling the split, Dina added, "He's lovely, he hasn't done much. It's other people around him have done things that have blown me away, and again my future ex-husband has done nothing (wrong). "He's probably the sweetest guy I've ever met. He is the sweetest, he is a loving, kind, low-key person, so my intuition was still great on marrying a good person."
