Catherine Zeta-Jones enjoyed a snowy Christmas with her husband Michael Douglas and their two children – and she kept her fans au fait with the family’s fun on the French Alps on social media. The Hollywood star posted a series of snaps online of herself, Michael and Dylan, 13, and Carys, 11 atop the ski slopes where they headed for a festive break. The Welsh actress took to her Facebook page to share a family photograph complete with a stunning backdrop. She captioned the shot: "Merry Christmas, Nadolig Llawen! I hope everyone has a joyous holiday and is surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones."
Michael, 70, shared the same image and wrote: "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from France."
Catherine, who is loving social media since kicking off her own Facebook page last month, added several more snaps of the family getaway. One showed the brunette beauty showing off her trim figure in a skiing outfit with the words, "It really snowed!" while another showed her after a morning ski with the caption: "From my morning hike!" The stunning star is no doubt enjoying some time with her family after spending the past few months shooting scenes for the new Dad's Army film in Bridlington, Yorkshire, in which she plays glamorous journalist Rose Winters.
Joining Catherine in the new movie is a stellar line-up of British talent, with Sir Tom Courtenay will play Corporal Jones, Sir Michael Gambon will star as Godfreym, while Toby Jones takes on Captain Mainwaring, who was famously portrayed by Arthur Lowe in the original TV show.
Love Actually's Bill Nighy will play Sergeant Wilson while star of The Inbetweeners Blake Harrison will play Ian Lavender's character Private Pike. Meanwhile, Michael was also enjoying some downtime after filming action movie Unlocked in Prague. The upcoming film focuses on a CIA interrogator, who accidentally discloses information to a group of terrorists plotting a biological attack on England's capital.
Unlocked, which currently has no release date, also stars Noomi Rapace, Orlando Bloom and Toni Collette.
