As the curtain comes down on what has undeniably been a difficult year for Zelda Williams, the 25-year-old is in the company of the man she loves. Zelda has flown to Sydney to be with Australian actor Jackson Heywood, her beau of one year.Zelda has been documenting her adventures Down Under, which have included enjoying the sunny beaches, taking in the sights, and meeting some of the local wildlife. She also took time on Christmas Day to send a tweet of thanks.

'It can be hard to find happiness when you're sad, but it shouldn't be to find kindness. Thank you to all those being kind this Christmas,' she wrote. Before adding: “Also, as I'm a day in the future from you all & thus past Christmas myself, happy future post-Holiday sugar coma!” As the countdown to 2015 ticked away on 31 December, the daughter of late actor

Robin Williams was gearing up to see in the New Year.

Zelda is Robin's eldest child from the actor's second marriage to Marsha Garces Williams

She shared a stunning picture of Sydney’s famous Harbour Bridge with her 96.7k followers and had this to say: “In about 7 & a half hours, this thing is gonna light up like the Fourth of July! New Years time,” In an earlier picture, Zelda can be seen reclining on Jackson,a popular TV actor in Australia thanks to parts in Home &Away and a Teen Wolf series.

“Human La-Z-Boy, much better than a beach towel,” she captions the snap. The fun snaps show a young woman who is seemingly coping well after the tragedy she has faced this year. Jackson, no doubt, has a lot to do with Zelda’s positive state of mind.

Zelda’s father Robin took his own life in August, sending shockwaves through Hollywood. He was found in his San Francisco, California home by his personal assistant. He was 63. Robin’s daughter, who he named after a princess in the highly popular Nintendo video game series The Legend Of Zelda, has taken on-off breaks from social media since then. In October, she expressed her uncertainty about the future of her Instagram account.

"As for this Instagram, I don't know in what capacity I'll continue using it in the future, but I'm leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family's photos will get no traction," she wrote. At the time of Robin's passing, the House of D star paid tribute to her dad by leaving an emotional message on her Instagram page, which ended with the words, "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up. Z."

The full quote, taken from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's classic tale The Little Prince, began: "You – you alone will have the stars as no one else has them... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. "And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night... You – only you – will have stars that can laugh."
