Jennifer Lopez has officially changed her name after her divorce from Marc Anthony was finalised in June 2014. The singer, 45, took Marc's surname – his real name is Marco Muniz – after their 2004 nuptials and legally became Jennifer Muniz.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, JLo didn't change her last name back to Lopez until earlier this week, more than three years after they parted ways.

In June a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge finally signed off on the paperwork, officially drawing their relationship to a close – although the details of the negotiations were ironed out in March.

The On the Floor singer, and Marc announced that they were going their separate ways in July 2011 after seven years of marriage. In a joint statement the couple said at the time: "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."

Marc then took the next step of filing for divorce nearly a year later in April 2012, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

The settlement sees Jennifer take primary custody of the pair's six-year-old twins Max and Emme, while Marc will look after them for seven days each month. JLo is officially a single lady, having split from her boyfriend of more than two years, Casper Smart, earlier this year. Marc married girlfriend Shannon de Lima in November at the singer's home in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

The newlyweds have dated on and off since 2012 and their marriage was hinted at in the video for his song Flor Palida, meaning 'pale flower'. Shannon starred as his love interest and the last scene showed her riding up to a chapel on horseback, wearing a wedding gown.
