Ola Jordan shared a selfie from her hospital bed on Wednesday after having knee surgery. The Strictly Come Dancing star had the operation on Tuesday in a bid to save her dancing career after sustaining a serious knee injury while training for winter sports show The Jump. On Wednesday the 32-year-old shared a series of pictures from hospital, telling fans she "can't wait to go home" to her husband James Jordan. "Cheeky hospital selfie! …I think I'm bored! Can't wait to go home to see my boy @The_JamesJordan" she wrote.
She had earlier shared a photograph of her leg wrapped in a bandage as she thanked her followers for their support. "Morning. Thank you again so much everyone for all your lovely messages xxx Here is my poor leg," she tweeted. Ola damaged her hip and leg while training for Channel 4's The Jump at an indoor skiing centre in December. She sustained the injury two weeks before the end of her contract with Strictly, and had to be replaced with a different dancer for the show's big finale. On Tuesday, Channel 4 confirmed that Chloe Madeley, the 27-year-old daughter of TV hosts Richard and Judy, will take Ola's place on The Jump.
