As two of the main characters on hit show Made In Chelsea, Stevie Johnson and Andy Jordan have had their fair share of on-screen relationship troubles. And last series saw Stevie heartbroken after learning of ex-girlfriend Stephanie Pratt's new relationship with Josh Shepherd.
Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online at the filming of a mini basketball game between the pair ahead of the NBA game, Stevie revealed that his experience "made me stronger as a person." Andy, meanwhile, weighed in on fellow castmate Spencer's relationship with Lauren Hutton and admitted that he'd "love to have another on-screen girlfriend"...
Stevie: This was my most difficult series... When Steph and Josh were dating, it was something I was always going to be alright with but I needed my space and I couldn't get that because of the show. I was never trying to win Steph back – I was moving on with my life and I was happy for her to get on with hers, there were just a few speedbumps along the way!
It was more emotional than I thought it would be – I do have moments when I'm really vulnerable, normally I'm good at keeping it in! The whole experience definitely made me stronger as a person.
Andy: I would love to have a girlfriend on-screen... I'd actually prefer to have one on-screen than off-screen. I like to be transparent and for people to know that I have a girlfriend. I haven't actively looked for anyone – I've had a good year of being single and have very much enjoyed that.
We start filming soon and if the right person comes along, the relationship will definitely play out on camera. Stevie: Spencer has an addictive personality... Once a year, he has a two-month period where he thinks 'I'm going to get super fit' and he sheds lots of weight and gets ripped. I think he had that at the end of last year, and Lauren coincided with that, so I hope the combination will prolong that phase for him.
Andy: I've given Spencer the benefit of the doubt too many times...
I'm good friends with him, but I'm not going to say that I'm confident that he has changed his ways. If he has, then high five to him. And I really hope he has. Everyone has that girl that knocks you off your feet, so hopefully she is that girl.
Stevie:
I can't wait for the game, it's going to be so fun! We were nearly dying on the court – five more minutes and we would have been on the floor!
Andy:
We're going to make a boys' night of it. Last year I met Paul McCartney!
Andy and Stevie will be attending the NBA Global Games event at The O2 in London on Thursday 15th January.
