If you’re out and about this weekend wandering Toronto’s streets and you happen upon someone who looks like Ricky Gervais, it may very well be the comedian himself. The 53-year-old star is spending some time in the Big Smoke staking out locations for his forthcoming movie, Special Correspondents.

On his blog, rickygervais.com, he opened up about his recent 2015 Globes experience. “So I lost another Golden Globe… That’s 8 nominations with 3 wins. And that’s not bad compared to my Emmy record of 21 nominations and 2 wins. Still, mustn’t grumble.”

We haven’t seen the star in town with our own eyes, but the word on Twitter is that he swung by CBC Radio earlier today to check out the As It Happens studio.

Given that, it would make sense that The Office creator would stop by Canada’s national broadcaster to check out their digs.
