Rita Ora and her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris are set to go head-to-head at the BRIT Awards in February. The former couple, who attended the awards together in 2014, have both received nominations for British artist video of the year. It could be an uncomfortable meeting for the pair, who confirmed their split in June. While they said it was an amicable split, the pair seem to be struggling to maintain their friendship - Rita revealed she had to cancel a scheduled performance at the Teen Choice Awards because Calvin refused her permission to sing the song.

In an interview with Capital FM in November, Calvin also said that life was "stress-free" following their break up. He revealed: "I haven't seen her since, like, March. It's brilliant. It's great. I told you before, it's just stress-free. It's beautiful." Another contender for British artist video of the year is Sam Smith, who received five BRIT award nominations including Best British Solo Male and Album of the Year. Sam's BRITs success comes just one year after he received the Critics' Choice award at the music ceremony. The London-born singer has gone on to become the only artist to sell a million albums in both the UK and America for his debut, In the Lonely Hour, and also received six Grammy award nominations. The BRIT Awards will be hosted by Ant and Dec at The O2 Arena on 25 February.
