Dame Joan Collins has opened the doors to her Los Angeles home for the first time in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with HELLO! magazine. The actress and her husband Percy are about to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary – and Joan tells the magazine how they are happier than ever. "It is my fifth marriage, and my happiest, and last," said Joan. "Percy is wonderful, he's my soul mate. That doesn't mean we don't bicker but we are very understanding of each other."
Dame Joan Collins admitted she is too scared to have plastic surgery
Percy added of the detractors who said their union would never last: "People are entitled to their opinion but it's good to prove them wrong. I've certainly never been happier and I hope that I make Joan happy because she definitely deserves that." Joan, 81, also opened up about her views on plastic surgery. "I have thought about it. I pull my face back and think: 'Wouldn't it look better like this?' But I am too scared. I like my laugh lines – it would be crazy not to have any at my age – and luckily I have good cheekbones."
Speaking about her recent damehood, she also told HELLO! of how she celebrated the honour. "We took 14 of our closest friends to the Wolseley restaurant in London – and I have to make a public apology to the other diners there that night if our loud renditions of 'There's Nothing Like a Dame' disturbed them!" she laughed.
