Eddie Redmayne has received critical acclaim for his role in The Theory of Everything, but the 33-year-old showed he is still down to earth as he admitted to getting star struck around his fellow Hollywood actors. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Eddie confessed that there was one star in particular that he and his wife Hannah Bagshawe were really excited to meet.
"My wife and I love Friends. We saw Jennifer Aniston at a party and we were just incredibly inappropriate," he said. "We so wanted to meet her that we sort of literally stalked about four meters behind her for an entire evening."
"Eventually I think she was like, 'Okay!'" he added. "So we got to meet her and she was as beautiful and wonderful as you'd expect her to be… She could've turned around and slapped us for being stalkers."

The actor confessed that he was like a "kid in a candy store" at awards shows, because "it's all these people that you've long admired".
Eddie won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role at the SAG Awards on Sunday, and admitted that he was excited to be presented the award by Julia Roberts.
"SAG Awards it was Julia Roberts, which was pretty breathtaking," he said. "My dad's favourite film is Pretty Woman so as a kid, I think at an inappropriate age, I was watching Pretty Woman. This moment happens when your name gets read out and it's such sort of extraordinary euphoria and it's kind of white noise, it all goes into a sort of blur."

"Then suddenly, there I was hugging Julia Roberts," he continued. "And then I was meant to sort of be articulate and all I could think of was, 'I wanna tell my dad!' It was amazing… we had a long conversation afterward."
The Oscar-nominee has previously spoken about how his wife is keeping him grounded during the awards season buzz, telling E! News: "There was a moment yesterday where I was in rehearsal and my wife was calling me because our dishwasher broke down.
"So, in the process of trying to focus on my craft, I was dealing with the blocked pipes."
