Kanye West has admitted that his wife Kim Kardashian and his toddler daughter North have changed him for the better. The rapper, who welcomed his first child 19 months ago, was appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when he opened up about his private life.
Making the rare move, Kanye revealed: "I think I'm a better human being because of [Kim] and because of my daughter.
"And I have always someone to think about going home to, and you know something for me to be brave for – what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family too."
The songwriter, who has previously starred with Kim in a music video as well as collaborated with her on fashion projects, added: "I've definitely learned how to compromise more, which is something you have to understand when you partner with people in business."
Kanye's latest track Only One shows him featuring alongside his adorable daughter North, and the pair are filmed walking hand-in-hand and cuddling up to each other. The song, which Kim has previously said is her favourite of her husband's, is told from the perspective of Kanye's late mother Donda, who asks him to "tell Nori about me".
While Kim, 34, and Kanye, 37, lead extremely successful lives, with careers in modelling, fashion, television and music to name a few, the couple are also focused on expanding their brood.
"Yeah, we're trying. I just want whatever Kim wants," said Kanye, when asked by Ellen whether he and his reality TV star wife plan to have more children.
His comment came after Kim revealed that she was hoping to fall pregnant soon. "We've really been trying for another kid," she told People. "More kids can't come soon enough!"
Kim and Kanye married in a romantic ceremony at the Forte di Belvedere, Florence in May 2014, almost a year after welcoming their first child.
