Following reports that she would never dance again, Ola Jordan sets the record straight in her first exclusive interview in which she reveals the true extent of the devastating injury to her knee.
"I would rather have broken both legs than suffer this type of injury because it will take much longer to recover," the Strictly Come Dancing star tells HELLO! of the despair she felt before undergoing keyhole surgery following the serious injury she sustained while preparing for C4's The Jump.
"Every morning, I'd wake up thinking it was a bad dream. Then the horror of it would hit me. I'm an active person, love dancing and going to the gym, but I couldn't even walk properly."
There is good news for her fans; Ola is determined to be back on the dancefloor. "I was never told that I might not dance again," she tells HELLO!. "My surgeon told me that once it's healed, my knee will be stronger than ever before."
The formerly blonde star blames her bad luck on becoming a brunette and reveals she is going back to being blonde as soon as she can. "It all seems to tie in with me reverting to my natural hair colour," she says. "Within days of dyeing it back to this shade, everything started to go wrong for us. I am going back to being blonde as soon as I can. Maybe our luck will change."
