Stephen Fry is clearly thouroughly enjoying married life. The newlywed, who tied the knot with Elliott Spencer last month, revealed that he has been "bathing in a bath of bliss" since his low-key wedding. Stephen couldn't contain his happiness and excitement as he shared his feelings during an appearance on BBC Radio 2.
"We're very much in the honeymoon stage still," he said. The 57-year-old actor added: "I'm dizzy with delirium and ditzy with dippiness. It's really thrilling. In Chaucerian English: I'm bathing in a bath of bliss. It's just great."

Stephen also revealed that he and Elliott, 27, have had to postpone their honeymoon due to his hosting duties at the BAFTAs this Sunday. This will be the tenth time that Stephen has held the prestigious role. "Our actual honeymoon will be after the BAFTAs when we go off to a secret location," said Stephen. "We're planning a huge adventure. We start in Cuba, where we've booked a romantic hideaway, and then go to about three or four more countries."
The couple – who married on 17 January at the local registry in Dereham, Norfolk – have received a constant flurry of well wishes from their fans and supporters.
Stephen Fry said that marriage to Elliott Spencer was "really thrilling"
Last week Stephen and Elliott were given a celebratory cake featuring their first initials, after the QI host took part in a debate at Cambridge University. "The adorable darlings of the @cambridgeunion had such a surprise for me last night," Stephen wrote on Twitter. "We're now tucking in. #yum."
The sugary treat also bore a quote from Oscar Wilde: "Never love anybody who treats you like you're ordinary." At the wedding, Stephen and Elliott paid tribute to the Irish poet and author as they exchanged vows in the presence of a miniature Oscar Wilde doll. The couple also wore green carnations in their lapels, a nod to Victorian men who would often don the flowers made popular by the Irishman. "Oh and @ElliottGSpencer and I had our vows witnessed by a mini Oscar Wilde," tweeted Stephen alongside a photo of the wedding scene. "Because one should. #greencarnations."
