Stephen Fry has been vocal about his "bliss" following his wedding to Elliott Spencer in January, and now his husband has spoken out about their relationship for the first time. Talking at the BAFTAs, Elliott insisted that he couldn't be happier with Stephen despite some criticism about the 30-year age gap between them.
"I don't care what people think, Stephen is the love of my life, the light of my life," the 27-year-old told The Mirror.
Elliott revealed that the pair met three years ago after being introduced by friends and said that laughter had brought them together.

"It's been incredible. We met at a house party three years ago after we were introduced by friends. The rest is history."
The aspiring comedian joined his husband at the BAFTA awards on Sunday night, where Stephen was on hosting duty. Elliot explained that he is currently taking a break from stand-up to concentrate on his photography.
Stephen Fry has also been vocal about his love of married life
"I'm just really happy and enjoying being married. It's all been really exciting and new. I'm not really doing anything else.
"I'm focusing on photography now rather than comedy, and being creative. I'm hoping to hold an exhibition so Stephen and all our friends can see my work."
Stephen and Elliott married on 17 January at a local registry office in Dereham, Norfolk – just 11 days after confirming their engagement.

The 57-year-old also revealed that he and Elliott postponed their honeymoon until after the BAFTAs, and they are planning to go to a "secret location".
"We're planning a huge adventure. We start in Cuba, where we've booked a romantic hideaway, and then go to about three or four more countries."
