Taylor Swift has become the latest star to be immortalised in wax at London's Madame Tussauds, and fans of the singer would be hard pressed to spot the difference beween the figure and the real thing. While some celebrity replicas can be almost unrecognisable, the museum's team have a knack of effectively capturing the likeness of their famous subjects.

Taylor's incredible waxwork will be temporarily on display in London before taking up residence in Orlando, Florida. With true attention to detail, the figure is dressed in a cheerleading costume like Taylor wears in her Shake it Off music video, and features the star's same bold red lips and slicked back ponytail.
London is also home to an amazing replica of The Imitation Game star Benedict Cumberbatch, while Jennifer Lawrence's Hunger Games character Katniss Everdeen has also been recreated in wax. Featuring Katniss' trademark braided hair and hunting bow and arrow, the waxwork brings the much-loved character to life.

Other stars to be bestowed with the honour include Sandra Bullock, Ryan Gosling and Ricky Martin.
Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville said that it was "spooky" to come face to face with his own wax replica in 2014.
"It's certainly spooky to see yourself in three dimensions like this. The detail is incredible and scarily accurate.
"Being made of wax, at least my new understudy won't ever be accused of giving a wooden performance."
Meanwhile our very own royal family have also been modelled in wax. Prince Harry's wax figure has been dressed in a suit created by the actual tailor he uses for his uniforms, and is adorned with three medals.
The Queen's impressive model is fitted in an exact replica of the dress she wore for her official Diamond Jubilee portrait. The dress is embellished with approximately 10,000 Swarovski crystals and took over 60 hours to complete.
