Simon Cowell has revealed how he and girlfriend Lauren Silverman are planning to celebrate their son Eric's first birthday. The X Factor judge said that the tot, who turns one on Saturday, will be treated to two birthday parties.
Speaking at the Britain's Got Talent auditions, Simon said that the family will be celebrating a day early on Friday, because Lauren needs to go to the Big Apple on Saturday.
"We're going to do a little bit of a celebration on Friday because, as I said, he's going to be in New York on Saturday so we’ll have two parties – he's sent me the guest list," Simon joked.

The proud dad took his son along to the Dominion Theatre on Wednesday, much to the delight of his fellow Britain's Got Talent judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon. Eric even got to take a seat in his dad's judging chair ahead of the London auditions.
An onlooker said: "Simon was holding him. When he tried to hand Eric back to the nanny, Eric wanted to stay with his dad. The whole crowd were mesmerised and oohing and aahing over him.
"Before Simon gave Eric back he put him in his judging chair. It was very sweet."
Simon and Lauren welcomed their son Eric on Valentine's Day 2014
Simon has truly embraced fatherhood and often shares photos of his mini-me son with fans. The 11-month-old clearly takes after his dad, and Simon posted a picture of the pair pulling similar grumpy faces in January.
"Looks familiar?" Simon captioned the photo of the pair, who are also sporting matching white t-shirts.
The 55-year-old music mogul previously said that there is a "new energy" at home since Eric's arrival.
"There's more of a nice atmosphere. It's definitely louder, not to the point where everybody thought I was going to be getting up at five in the morning and all that kind of stuff. He's been a very, very happy baby," Simon told The Mirror.
Eric made his way into the world in New York City when socialite Lauren gave birth at Lenox Hill hospital – in the exclusive maternity ward where Beyoncé Knowles welcomed her daughter Blue Ivy.
The baby's birthday coincides with Valentine's Day, but Simon said he doesn't have anything special planned for his partner Lauren yet.
"I don't know [what I'm going to do] yet…I've never loved it. It's not like Christmas Day."
