The most romantic date of the year, Valentine's Day, saw a host of celebrities spend the weekend with their nearest and dearest. While Peter Andre and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini chose to celebrate with their other half, other stars including Kim Kardashian and her older sister Kourtney turned the special day into a family affair.
Marking her first Valentine's as Mrs Fernandez-Versini, Cheryl was whisked off to a mysterious location by her French beau Jean Bernard. The Crazy Stupid Love temptress proved the envy of her fans, as she took to Instagram to share a couple of photos from her evening.
"Happy Valentine ❤ Sending you all lots of love & happiness #feelingvluckyandspoiled.. Part 1 ..," wrote Cheryl alongside a photo of her alfresco candlelit dinner.

Red roses, one of Cheryl's favourite flowers, were the theme of the day. The brunette beauty was later surprised with "Part 2" of the celebrations – a petal-filled bubble bath, while the phrase "Happy Valentine" spelt out in roses on the floor.
Competing in the romance stakes, Peter Andre whisked his pretty fiancée Emily MacDonagh off to Paris for the weekend. The celebrations started one day early for the couple, as they enjoyed a magical helicopter ride over the City of Light on Friday.
Peter and Emily's mini-break included a romantic dinner the following night, which the Mysterious Girl singer clearly appreciated as he shared a selfie on Instagram of him and his doctor graduate love. "What a wonderful night in Paris :))," he captioned it.

The couple, who are parents to one-year-old daughter Amelia, weren't the only ones who had travelled to the French capital without their little one. Emmerdale actress Natalie Anderson and her husband James Shepherd enjoyed a well-deserved break in Paris, leaving their young son Freddie at home.
"Room with a view and one Notre Dame in the distance...c'est bonne!! ❤xxx," wrote Natalie alongside her first photo from the weekend, followed by a selfie of the pair captioned: "❤❤❤. A few champagnes?"

Celebrating stateside, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian spent Valentine's Day showering their brood with love and presents. Queen of reality TV Kim gifted her adorable baby North West a pair of bright pink trainers, while also sharing a touching black-and-white snapshot of her daughter and husband Kanye, simply captioning it: "My loves!"

Her older sister Kourtney pulled out all the stops for her long-term partner Scott Disick and their three children Mason, Penelope and baby son Reign. Valentine's Day started off with heart-shaped waffles, followed by a heart-shaped pizza and a marshmallow-covered white cake.
"We're into Valentine's Day over here in case you can't tell," she wrote alongside another photo of a bouquet of white roses.
