Ray Quinn and wife Emma Stephens announce their split

Ray Quinn has split from his wife Emma Stephens. The 26-year-old former X Factor and Dancing On Ice star has confirmed that after three years of marriage, he and West End performer Emma have gone their separate ways."Unfortunately the speculation is true and Emma and I have regrettably parted ways," say Ray in an official statement. "Out of respect for the privacy of my family I don't want to delve into my private life too much however what I will say is that our lives, after a period of time, have gone down separate paths."

Ray and Emma married in 2012

In spite of the split, Merseyside-born Ray is keen to soldier on with work and his musical projects."Despite this obviously being a very difficult period in my life," he said. "I am keeping busy with my new music and will be continuing with my UK tour and the release of my new single as planned. "Ray and Emma, who met on the set of Grease in 2008, got engaged on Christmas Day in 2010. Just over two years later the couple tied the knot in a secret beach ceremony in Barbados on 31 March 2012.

The couple have a son together

The wedding was covered by HELLO! Magazine and during their nuptials the couple exclusively told the publication that they were expecting their first child.Emma gave birth to a baby boy called Harry Frank Quinn on 2 August 2012.At the time of his wedding, Ray spoke about how grateful he felt to have found happiness with Emma. "I'm so lucky to have Emma," he said. "The dress, I had to catch my breath. I've never seen a more beautiful bride."

Ray won Dancing On Ice in 2013

Emma recalled the moment Ray asked her to marry him. "When Ray slipped the platinum and diamond ring on my finger, there were tears of happiness in my eyes," she said. "I saw other holidaymakers watching us they gave us a round of applause."
