As he turns 16 on 4 March, Brooklyn Beckham has his father's charisma, his mother's work ethic and fashion nous and a social media presence all on his own. In the last 12 months Victoria and David's son has stepped out of their protective shadow to become a celebrity in his own right, with hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter and Instagram lapping up the details of his jet set life.
To celebrate the big day take a look at his life in the spotlight so far. This year alone the trendy teen has been seen at exclusive concerts and parties, made his modelling debut and attended Elton John's wedding as a guest of honour.
On the day of his actual birthday he'll have two meals – one with his friends and another with his family. As David explains: "He's at the age now when he doesn't want me to drop him outside the school and things like that, which I definitely do anyway!"
It's also thought that Brooklyn has tentatively started dating. Last year he was pictured on several ocassions with 18-year-old Kick Ass actress Chloë Moretz.
When asked about the rumours of a relationship the starlet replied: "That's a naughty question!" "I don't know. He's a very good guy and he's a good person. I enjoy hanging out with him."
Chloë's not the only one who has noticed what "a good guy" he is. When Brooklyn stepped out with his mother to an awards ceremony, Twitter went into overdriving with users hailing him a "teenage dream" and the "new Harry Styles". One asked: "Why aren't all boys my age as beautiful as Brooklyn Beckham?"
