One of Taylor Swift's biggest fans, four-year-old Jalene Salinas, has had one of her final wishes granted - a video dance party with pop star Taylor. The 25-year-old international star spoke for 20 minutes over the video call as Jalene danced to Taylor's chart hit Shake It Off.
Jalene, who is battling an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer, was reportedly "in pain" and "didn't talk much" to her heroine, but she did say "bye and thank you" to the superstar.

Taylor told Jalene: "I'm so sorry you're having a bad night. I’m so happy to talk to you though and I’m so happy you like Shake It Off."
She added: "You look beautiful tonight, you really do. You're just as pretty as your picture."
Taylor became aware of Jalene's wish thanks to her online fans, known as Swifties, who began a hashtag campaign called #ShakeItOffJalene.

The Blank Space singer got in touch with Jalene's mother, Jennifer Arriagas, after returning from London where she won her first BRIT Award last Wednesday. She reportedly told Jennifer that it was "unfathomable to have to watch your baby go through this".
Jennifer also thanked Taylor, and added: "We can check everything off and as her mom it means the world to me that she got to do and see [everything] and everything is checked off now. It means so much to me that you reached out to us."
It's not the first time Taylor has reached out to fans. In February Taylor reached out to a fan via cyberspace to offer heartfelt words of advice after the young girl admitted she had been dumped, while in January, she proved how much she values her fans as she sent one loyal supporter a generous package including a cheque for $1989 to help pay off her student loans.
