Jennifer Lopez may be a superstar singer, but on Sunday afternoon she was just like any other mum, making sure she got some family time with her seven-year-old twins Emme and Max. A far cry from her high-octane stage performances and show-stopping red-carpet looks, an Instagram snap shows J-Lo cuddling up to her little ones on the sofa, clearly engrossed in her daughter as she wraps her arm around her, while her son Max leans back on her legs. The seven-year-olds, meanwhile, are less interested in their famous mum, paying more attention to the tablet and laptop in their hands.
"On Sunday Around here we call this...Sunday Funday #coconuts #LOVE," the devoted mum captioned the sweet snap, which sees the trio dressed comfortably for their "funday".
The American Idol judge was enjoying some down time after a hectic week promoting her new DreamWorks animated movie, Home, about a lovable alien on the run with a young girl he meets on Earth. The film also stars Jim Parsons as the alien, Oh, and Rihanna as his Earthling pal, Tip. Jennifer, 45, has made sure she's balanced her work and play recently, taking time out of her busy schedule to celebrate the birthday of her twins in February.
She and ex Marc Anthony came together to honour the special day, posing for family snaps which J-Lo then shared with fans – "Party Time!!! HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY TO THE COCONUTS!!! #thesetwoknowhowtoparty #Twins #LOVE #familia" she wrote alongside a snap of herself and Marc with their children. Guests at the party, which was reportedly Minecraft-themed based on the hit videogame, included Jennifer's father David. The father-daughter duo found time to pose for their own sweet selfie, which showed the pair cuddling up to one another. The star captioned the picture simply: "DADDY...?".
