Ryan Reynolds showed off his sense of humour – and some impressive Photoshop skills – over the weekend with a hilarious picture of himself and his wife Blake Lively. The actor tweeted an image which showed himself and Blake superimposed onto the bodies of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

The photo was taken at the American Music Awards in 2001, where former couple Britney and Justin made an infamous fashion faux pas when they stepped out in matching double denim ensembles.

"It was a mistake," Ryan joked alongside the digitally altered snap.

Ryan's tweet comes just days after Blake shared some funny Photoshopped images of her own on Instagram, including one picture of her face superimposed onto the body of a dancer.

"…that one time. When I secretly joined a dance troop. @twerk4dci you ladies are awesome," she captioned the image.

While Ryan and Blake are happy to joke around with their fans on the social networking site, one thing they are serious about is protecting the privacy of their daughter, who was born in December.

The 38-year-old has confirmed that he and Blake will keep her name private for as long as possible, telling The Associated Press: "That little girl will grow up to be a teenager who will find out that I blurted her name out on national television and probably make me pay for it. She will exact her revenge in searing, psychic pain!"

Despite not revealing her name, Ryan has previously joked that the three-month-old is "allergic to sleep" and revealed that he has been seriously deprived of sleep since her arrival.

"Our baby, in particular, is, we think, allergic to sleep," he told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. "We think that she thinks she's protecting us from the sleep monsters. Like, 'Oh I have to keep them up or the sleep monsters will get them.'"
