Rob Kardashian celebrated his 28th birthday on Tuesday with love and admiration coming from his family across social media. Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West both left messages and pictures on Twitter and Instagram, wishing their younger brother a happy birthday, while his mother Kris Jenner took a more emotional route.
"Your smile can light up any room and a million hearts @robkardashian", wrote Kris in a post on Instagram.

"I fell madly in love with you the moment we met 28 years ago...you are such a joy, with the biggest heart I have ever known. God blessed me with an amazing son and I cherish every single day and memory we have.
"You have experienced great sadness, overcome adversity and also enjoyed success beyond measure...but the best is yet to come. I love you angel boy. I'm so proud of you. You are a kind delicious human being who cares deeply for others.

Rob, who has experienced a difficult 2014, struggling with his weight, and posting a sad and cryptic tweet - "no one will ever understand how much it hurts" - did not acknowledge the messages, but both Khloé and Kim kept the mood more light-hearted.

Using their sweet nicknames for each other, Kim wrote: "Happy Birthday to my one and only brother Robbie!!!! I remember this Vegas party of yours like it was yesterday! I love you so much and can't wait to share so many more memories with you! Kiki ❤️ Riki!!!! ?
Khloé added: "Happy birthday @robkardashian!!!!!!"
Posting a throwback picture of the two, she continued: "Never will I ever meet another man as great as you! I know this is the year where you will find your happiness again!
"I will be right by your side, holding your hand, every step of the way!!! I adore you my one and only brother!! Happy Happy Happy birthday!!"

Rob, who also starred up the E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, deleted his entire family off of Twitter, except for his mum and half-sister Kylie Jenner, in June 2014.
Speaking to E! News, Kris said at the time: "Rob is living in L.A. right now, he is doing well, finding out what makes him tick.
"He is struggling with some stuff but my job is to be there for him and love him as hard as I can. Everyone goes through stuff and we get through each other's adversity one year at a time."
