Gwyneth Paltrow has long been considered at the forefront of celebrity lifestyle inspirations, thanks to the launch of her 2008 website Goop. Now the mother-of-two has opened up on the preconceptions of Goop, admitting: "I see myself as an actor and a mother, and an entrepreneur. I don't see myself as a guru."

After being asked if she felt close to the 'common woman', Gwyneth revealed: "I am incredibly close to the common woman, in that I am a woman and a mother."

She continued: "We are all in a physical body with beating hearts with compassion and love. We are all seekers, we all want questions, we want fulfilment, we want to live our best lives, and be happy and healthy, and squeeze the best out of life. I think that's all women."

Goop, originally conceived as a weekly email publication, has evolved into a website with regular updates that, according to the site, 'hopes to surface the very best experiences, recipes, products, and advice.' It has often been criticised for being out of touch with the normal woman's lifestyle.

"What we try to do at Goop is to curate, to edit, and to give context to thing", revealed Gwyneth during her interview with CNN Money.

"We know that a woman's time is her most precious resource and we want to multitask and get a lot done. What we want to do is provide the best solutions."

The Oscar-winning actress, who revealed on Goop in 2014 that she was "consciously uncoupling" from her husband Chris Martin, also discussed her career, and admitted that the launch of Goop has not led to her becoming a "guru".

"I see myself as an actor and a mother, and an entrepreneur," she admitted. "I don't see myself as a guru, I am the one asking the questions."

She then admitted that 2015 is the year for Goop. "I am very focused this year on building my business, so that's my focus for 2015.

"I would like to also find an acting project as well but when you are trying to build a business like this, it really needs almost all of your time, and so, I know it's risky but that's pretty much my focus for 2015."
