Zayn Malik has sadly left the current One Direction tour having been signed off with stress. A statement from the band's PR Simon Jones on Twitter said: "Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta."

The 22-year-old pulled out of a shoot being held in Hong Kong on Thursday to fly back to the UK to stay with his family. The news means he will also miss the final three dates of the band's On The Road Again tour.
The statement comes a day after he declared his love for fiancée Perrie Edwards following allegations of cheating.
Zayn was pictured holding hands with a young blonde, identified by Hollywood Life as Lauren Rich, in Phuket, Thailand, during a night out, and Lauren later posted a picture on Instagram of the two of them looking close.

"I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards," he wrote on his Twitter. He then ended his short tweet apologising for his actions: "I'm sorry for what it looks like x"
A source told The Sun: "Zayn finds it tougher than the rest of his band-mates dealing with fame.
"Having his every movement scrutinised causes great anxiety and the pictures which surfaced with the fan yesterday was the final straw.
“He did nothing wrong but the amount of criticism he received was simply too much. He needs to get away."

Zayn and Perrie, who both found fame on The X Factor, started dating in 2011 and got engaged in August 2013. But don't expect to hear wedding bells any time soon — the chart-topping stars recently revealed they are understandably struggling to find the time to plan their big day.
"I haven't really thought about getting married yet," Zayn, 22, admitted when asked about his upcoming nuptials to Little Mix's Perrie during an interview on BBC Breakfast. "We're just kind of engaged."
