Jamie Foxx has insisted that he and Katie Holmes are just good friends. The silver screen star denied rumours of a romance with the Dawson's Creek actress out after a image emerged that seemed to show them holding hands in a studio. Speaking to paparazzi as he left a bank in Westlake Village, outside Los Angeles, Django Unchained star Jamie said "oh come on, you guys have been trying to make that stick for three years," when asked how things were going with Katie. "We're just friends," he added when questioned on whether there is any truth to the rumours.

"As a matter of fact Anthony Zuiker, creator of CSI, he offered us an animation project and we're working on that that's all it is," Jamie went on to clarify. "They've been trying to do that for three years," he added in reference to the ongoing reports that he and Katie have been secretly dating. "It gets stories I guess." When asked if the constant rumours get tiresome, Jamie replied "a little bit" before saying he realises that speculation is "just part of the business". Ohio-born Katie has yet to comment on the situation.
