Harrison Ford released from hospital

Harrison Ford is on the mend. The actor has left hospital following his plane crash three weeks ago. Harrison crashed his vintage World War 2 plane on Penmar Golf Course in California on 5 March, and was quickly taken to UCLA Medical Centre, where he was treated for a number of injuries.He has made a good recovery, and was seen driving around LA at the weekend, according to new reports.

An eyewitness told E! News that Harrison was spotted on the road on Saturday, driving around Pacific Palisades before arriving at the home of Steven Spielberg – the two men teamed up for the upcoming sci-fi film Star Wars: The Force Awakens."Harrison was driving his Tesla and seemed to be in good spirits," the onlooker said. "He was wearing a hat so there weren't any visible signs of wounds on his head. He was by himself but able to drive his car normally. "He arrived at Steven Spielberg's house in the late afternoon and went straight through the gate. He was there for many hours and stayed all through the evening. He went home after 10pm."

Harrison, 72, suffered a number of injuries following his crash, reportedly including a large laceration to his head and broken bones in his pelvis and ankle.By his bedside throughout his recovery was his devoted wife Calista Flockhart. "She (would) drop Liam off in the morning and then spend hours with Harrison," a source told People. "She (brought) him food and reading material. "At the time of the accident, Harrison's son Ben – from his marriage to first wife Mary Marquardt – took to Twitter to reassure the actor's fans. "We want to thank you all for your concern," Ben, a chef, wrote. "Dad has the best care possible, on the mend and of strong mind, body & spirit."
