Katie Piper is back recovering at home following a stay in hospital. The inspirational TV presenter had a throat operation last month, but had to be readmitted to hospital due to complications that arose from the surgery.
Sharing her health update on Twitter, Katie wrote: "Thank you for all your tweets and msgs, I'm back at home now taking it easy and being strict with my medication!"
The star, who suffered an acid attack by her ex-boyfriend in 2008, was greeted with a wealth of support from her legions of followers, with one commenting "Fantastic to hear this" and another posting "Great news chick! Take it easy please........ And have loads of cuddles with your princess xx."

Katie will no doubt be looking forward to a reunion with her one-year-old daughter Belle and her builder fiancé James Sutton. Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online last month, Katie, 31, opened up about motherhood and how her number one priority is her little girl.
"It's that unconditional love," said Katie, when asked what the best thing about being a mum is. "When you come home someone recognises you and looks up at you. She now cuddles up to me so it's really nice to get home and have a cuddle with her and just watch her grow."

The Hampshire-born star has been promoting her new book and second autobiography Beautiful Ever After, which follows on from her memoirs Beautiful, but Katie also revealed that she loves spending a lot of quality time with her family.
"I'm quite big in the kitchen because I'm really into cooking and juicing," she said. "We do cook together as a hobby, my partner and I, it's how we spend the evenings sometimes making cakes and baking."

"We also make everything from fresh for Belle so we're always in the kitchen with her," she added. "She can't stop eating!"
Katie, who announced her engagement to James a couple of months ago, had a routine throat operation to remove scar tissue from her acid attack. Due to complications the blonde beauty suffered severe weight loss and had to be readmitted to hospital and monitored, but the philanthropist is now back at home.
