Abbey Clancy is counting down the days to the birth of her second baby. The pregnant model, who is married to footballer Peter Crouch, shared a snap of her growing baby bump on Twitter.

Updating her followers on her pregnancy progress, Abbey posted a gorgeous selfie. "Just over 6 weeks to go and counting," she captioned it, alongside a host of baby emoticons.

Dressed for comfort, Abbey was pictured striking a pose in front of her mirror. She drew attention to her bump by placing a tender hand on her stomach and standing slightly side-on.

The catwalk star still managed to look effortlessly beautiful in her casual grey T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms, wearing little make-up and sweeping her blonde tresses to one side.

Abbey, who is already mum to her and Peter's four-year-old daughter Sophia, recently caused confusion when she shared another photo on Twitter of a newborn tot.

Posting the image weeks before her May due date, Abbey led some to believe that she had already given birth. "New member to the Clancy family baby Caleb," she captioned a photo of an adorable little boy.

Abbey soon had to follow it up with another tweet, writing: "Ha sorry for any confusion it's my brother @seanclancy7 and @StephanieDoyle2 baby!!! Wish he was mine #soinlove."

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy do not know the gender of their second baby

Abbey, 29, and her Stoke City football player love married in June 2011, after dating for five years. Much like with Abbey's first pregnancy, the couple are leaving the gender of their baby a surprise.

"I'm so pleased at the news," striker Peter wrote in his Loaded magazine column.

The 34-year-old added: "We're not going to find out the sex of the baby – with Sophia we left it a surprise. Either would be brilliant. But, I will say, I've got a lot of girls in my house, so it would be great to have a little lad to take to football."
