Nicole Scherzinger leads the stars at London's Olivier Awards

Nicole Scherzinger ramped up the glamour as she attended the prestigious Olivier Awards at London's Royal Opera House on Sunday evening. The 36-year-old joined stars including Kimberley Walsh and Pixie Lott at the ceremony, which celebrates theatre's greatest talent.

Former Pussycat Doll Nicole looked stunning for the awards wearing a black Galia Lahav fishtail gown accessorised with a gold waist belt.

She was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress in a Musical category for her highly acclaimed performance as Grizabella in Cats.

Despite losing out on the award to Beautiful star Lorna Want, Nicole was still thrilled to be at the awards and took to the stage to perform Memory from the Andrew Lloyd-Webber show.

Kimberley Walsh was excited to attend the theatre awards

"So honoured and blessed to have performed here at the #OlivierAwards #RoyalOperaHouse," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a picture of herself in the embellished gown she wore to perform.

The singer later posted a photo of herself along Kevin Spacey, who was presented with the Special Award in recognition of his work in London theatre. "#Living!!!! Backstage w/#KevinSpacey #TheOlivierAwards", she wrote.

Other stars at the event included Kevin Spacey, who won a special award which recongised his work in the London theatre, and Kimberley Walsh, who left seven-month-old son Bobby at home for a glamorous night out.

The new mum stunned in a plunging red floor-length gown, and expressed her excitement at attending the event on Twitter.

"On my way to The Olivier Awards @olivierawards sooooo excited! #oliviers," she tweeted.

Dianna Agron also attended the theatre awards

Glee star Dianna Agron also walked the red carpet - the 28-year-old, who is rumoured to be dating Nicholas Hoult, was no doubt picking up tips ahead of her West End debut in McQueen in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile Pixie Lott debuted her new fringe on the red carpet before taking to the stage to present a trophy. She joined the likes of Gemma Arterton, Dame Judi Dench and Anne-Marie Duff at the ceremony, which saw Sunny Afternoon and A View From The Bridge triumph.
