After hitting a rocky patch in August 2013, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are back stronger than ever. In a new interview on The Ellen Show this week, the 70-year-old actor spoke candidly about his reconciliation with his wife, and said he was still "crazy" in love with her. "If both of you are willing you know to do it," Michael told host Ellen DeGeneres. "It can't be a one-way street, but I'm crazy about her and, yeah, I think every couple has their difficult times.

"The only problem is, as you well know, we're all in the public eye, and it tends to get a little more exposed than most. "Happily, all their hard work paid off. "We're back stronger than ever," Michael added. It's just as well Michael stopped by the show; he admitted that the backstage staff had congratulated him on his upcoming 15th wedding anniversary, saving the star from later embarrassment with his wife. "I have to thank your backstage team who said, 'I'm so happy to see that you have your 15th wedding anniversary coming up'," Michael told Ellen.

"I said, 'No, my 14th wedding anniversary', and they were very polite and said, 'I think it's your 15th wedding anniversary'. I said, 'No'. I went '19… Oh my goodness if is my 15th anniversary!' So thank you very much for that. Saved me…!"Ellen then quipped: "Whatever you need. If you need to know your anniversary date, if you need to know her birthday, we can help you out!"Michael and 45-year-old Catherine married in November 2000 at the New York Plaza Hotel. They briefly separated in 2013, but reconciled a few months later after some time living apart. They are parents to son Dylan, 14, and 11-year-old daughter Carys.
