Victoria Beckham reveals she's having 'a great year' on 41st birthday

Victoria Beckham celebrated her 41st birthday on Thursday, and shared the day with her fans by posting a short compilation video on Twitter of pictures from 41 years. Along with the video, Victoria wrote: "What a great year! Having a great birthday with David and my babies x vb

The fashion designer and her family spent the special day in Hollywood, enjoying the Burberry fashion show and sat front row with Anna Wintour. Victoria wasn't far from the minds of friends around the world though, with her good pal Eva Longoria sending a sweet message to Victoria over Twitter.

"Happy Birthday to the most beautiful woman inside and out! @victoriabeckham love u! #HappyBdayVB", wrote Eva, who also added a personal picture of the two, which was taken in Los Angeles outside of a dinner held in Victoria's honour on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old Victoria later retweeted the message, adding: "Thank you, I love u! X vb".

The cheesiest birthday message of the day though may go to Victoria's husband David Beckham, who wrote on his official FaceBook page: "Happy birthday wifey", and added a picture taken of the couple from the mid-2000s when both had bleached-blonde hair.

Eva and Victoria first became friends in 2007, when the Beckham family moved to Los Angeles for Victoria's husband David Beckhams's football career. Since then the family have moved back to London, but are regularly catching a flight back to the US to see friends.

Victoria and David, plus their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, have spent the last few weeks Stateside, where Victoria launched her fashion collection in Barneys New York on Tuesday and was joined by her three-year-old daughter and "best friend" Harper for the occasion, which she documented for her fans on Instagram.

Victoria and David Beckham are in California for their children's Easter school break

Only two weeks ago Victoria and Eva caught up over dinner with their respective partners, David and Jose Antonio Baston, dining at the luxurious restaurant of Giorgio Baldi, an Italian restaurant near the ocean in Santa Monica.

The trip also gave 16-year-old Brooklyn the chance to experience the Coachella Music Festival for the first time - and when he returned, mum Victoria took the opportunity to share Brooklyn's post-Coachella nap with her fans.

"Back from Coachella @brooklynbeckham x vb", Victoria wrote. The image, which quickly racked up over 103,000 likes from fans, shows Brooklyn sprawled out on the sofa in a white T-shirt and grey joggers, along with his wristband from the star-studded Californian festival.
