George and Amal Clooney steal a kiss on film set

April 20, 2015

George Clooney couldn't have looked happier to welcome his wife Amal on set. The actor is currently filming Money Monster in New York, but as soon as he was off duty, Amal was at George's side to enjoy their free time together.

The couple, who married in Venice seven months ago, still appeared to be very much in the honeymoon phase.

The lovebirds greeted each other with a tender kiss and were pictured grinning from ear-to-ear as they giggled and shared plenty a joke together.

While George, 53, sported a pinstripe suit and mock explosives vest for his movie role, Amal looked nothing short of chic in a floral-printed, sleeveless top and grey cropped jeans.

The Beirut-born beauty added height to her statuesque figure with camel wedged sandals that featured a fringe detailing.

Barrister Amal, who specialises in human rights and international law, is temporarily living and working in New York as a visiting faculty member at Columbia Law School.

The 37-year-old will remain Stateside for the spring semester, while her husband George films his new movie alongside Julia Roberts and Dominic West and other stars.

In the drama thriller, expected to be released in 2016, George plays a TV personality who is held hostage by a desperate man Kyle, and whose situation is broadcasted live on air for all to see.

While taking time out of their day jobs, George and Amal have been spotted enjoying a string of dates around New York City. The loved-up pair have spent one evening at high-end Japanese restaurant Kappo Masa on the Upper East Side, while George has also been spotted dining at a budget Greek restaurant in Queens.

The Monuments Men star turned up at the Taverna Kyclades with his good friend and actor Bill Murray. Naturally, the owners of the restaurant didn't waste time in sharing a snap of their A-lister guests on their Facebook page. Alongside a photo of Bill and George posing with a member of staff, they wrote: "Bill Murray loved us so much he brought a friend."
