Katie Piper returned to hospital for further throat surgery on Wednesday. The inspirational TV presenter has been suffering complications since a routine operation in March to remove scar tissue from a 2008 acid attack by her ex-boyfriend.
The mother-of-one shared a photo of herself from inside the hospital along with a sign that encouraged patients to "keep calm & stop worrying".
"Back in hospital today for further surgery on the tears in my throat – reassuring sign on the wall!!!" she wrote.
Katie was inundated with good luck messages from fans who expressed their best wishes on Instagram and Twitter.
It is the second time Katie has returned to hospital after complications arose during her initial throat surgery in March. The problems meant she sadly had to miss her daughter Belle's first birthday party while she recuperated in hospital.
Just two weeks later the 31-year-old was admitted for further treatment after suffering with sickness, pain and losing a stone in weight.
Katie Piper attended the Avengers premiere on Tuesday night
"I went in for a routine operation to remove scar tissue from my attack but there were complications. I was discharged but started to deteriorate," she told The Mirror. "It's been very painful and I've lost a stone in 15 days so I had to come in and be monitored."
Katie has since returned to work, and walked the red carpet at the Avengers premiere in London on Tuesday night. The author has also been enjoying spending time with her daughter and builder fiancé James Sutton.
Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online in March, Katie opened up about motherhood and how her little girl is her number one priority.
"It's that unconditional love," said Katie, when asked what the best thing about being a mum is. "When you come home and someone recognises you and looks up at you. She now cuddles up to me so it's really nice to get home and have a cuddle with her and just watch her grow."
