Robert Downey Jr has finally given his fans a first look at his new daughter Avri. Five months after the youngster made her way into the world on 4 November 2014, her proud father shared a sweet snapshot of his baby girl on The Late Show with David Letterman. "Congratulations! We have another baby, this is a little girl," the host told Robert."Yes, we have a daughter named Avri," replied the Iron Man star. "I have three kids now, I have a 21-year-old named Indio, I have a three-year-old named Exton and now Avri who is now a little over five months."I thought I'd show the first picture on planet earth here with you kind sir," he added. "I would love [to show] it."

The adorable picture of little Avri, which shows her sporting a sweet yellow woollen hat, was met with a loud 'aw' from the audience while Robert said "You've got to love a yellow bonnet. "Keen to find out how Robert's sons have been reacting to the new addition to the family, 68-year-old David said: "What's the dynamic with this one and the older one? No rivalry?""No, not yet," responded the New York-born star, laughingly adding: "I mean it's natural for Exton to want to bite her every once in a while and it can start off as a little pet and it turns into a nibble. "The chatshow host was keen to reassure the actor that children "have a way of figuring it all out.""They do," replied Robert. "I think it's just establishing dominance, but then she'll be running stuff at some point."

Robert and his wife of ten years Susan, who welcomed son Exton on 7 February 2012, announced that they had become parents again at the end of last year. "After 9 months of intensive development, Team Downey is pleased to announce our 2014 fall/winter project," wrote Robert on his Facebook page. "Principal photography commenced 11-14 and will continue until she says, "Dad! You are embarrassing me... I'm 30, this has gotta stop.""Yep...Avri Roel Downey joined the party @ 3:22 a.m. on November 4th...she's 7lbs even, spans 20 inches, and is accompanied by a variety of Susan's traits that have seemingly overwritten my "junk DNA." I'll post pics here + there when I'm not too busy staring..."
