"It's a real shock," David Hawley told Daily Mail Australia. "He was one of the fittest men I've ever met – swimming every day. "Asked whether Angus had a history of heart problems, he answered: "No, no, not that we know of," adding, "He's so fit. I don't understand."David described his brother as "one of the most beautiful men that I've ever known". He added: "He is absolutely adored by everybody, he made everybody else feel like he's their best friend and that's why everybody loved him. And he loved everybody else, it's just a really emotional time. "Angus split from Antonia in 2007 after 11 years of marriage – the former couple are parents to Lucia, 16, Hamish, 14, James, 12 and eight-year-old Sybella. They are all expected to fly to Sydney in support of his second wife Prue Fisher, whom he married in 2011.

"They were absolutely devoted to each other and Prue's relationship with Angus' children was fantastic," David said of his late brother and Prue. "His wife adores him, and he adored her, his four children – it's just so sad. It's a tragic loss to our family and to his family, it's just a nightmare. "No matter what happens, for the rest of her life, she'll still be my sister-in-law. "The sad news comes just seven months after the Kidman family were rocked by another tragedy; the death of Nicole and Antonia's beloved father Dr Anthony Kidman.Anthony, a respected clinical psychologist, passed away unexpectedly in September while in Singapore visiting mum-of-six Antonia, her second husband Craig Marran and their children.
