Courteney Cox had a strong message this week for fans hoping for a Friends reunion. "Dear lord, let it go people, we're not doing it. It's just not gonna happen," she said during a video interview with Yahoo Style, before admitting that the cast of Friends haven't even had a proper off-screen get-together yet – and laying the blame with her fictional brother."We've gotten about 80 per cent there, but there's always one person who flakes at the end," she said of her former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry. "You know, I'm not going to name names, but it may not be (David) Schwimmer," she playfully added.

Courteney, whose directorial debut Just Before I Go premiered last week, did suggest a big screen spin-off for her Friends character Monica Gellar. "Oh, Monica's gonna do a movie. Yeah, just not the whole Friends," she said with a laugh. "No, it's gonna be called Hangin' With Monica. People will be running to the theatres. "During the interview, the actress was also happy to talk about her upcoming wedding to fiancé Johnny McDaid, who proposed last June, and revealed her ten-year-old daughter Coco plans to sing at the ceremony. "She also sang at David's (Arquette, Coco's father) wedding a couple of weeks ago," Courteney said. "I think she's probably going to be a wedding singer. She's really booking them right now!"

It comes just a few days after Courteney told chat show host Ellen DeGeneres that Coco actually wanted to plan her big day. "She's very excited about the wedding," Courteney said of Coco. "I was gonna hire a wedding planner but apparently she wants to do it."She's ten but she wants to do everything. She wants to be the maid of honour. She wants to be the flower girl, all the bridesmaids – she's just very excited!"
