Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa Osbourne celebrated their baby daughter's third birthday on the weekend but the joy turned to sadness for the pair when Lisa found herself in a car accident on Monday. Lisa, who is pregnant with their second child, took to Instagram however to confirm that her and baby were doing well.

"When some a-hole rear ends your car & you have to spend 24 hours in L&D getting monitored as standard protocol," Lisa captioned an Instagram picture of her baby bump encased in a monitor.

She continued: "Baby is fine, but I am losing my mind up in here! Cried on the phone with Pearl bc I wasn't there tonight to put her to sleep.

"Feeling so much sympathy for the women who have to be in this unit on bed rest for weeks and months due to serious complications. My heart goes out to you."

L&D is a labour and delivery unit, but there has been no word yet on whether Lisa has been released.

Jack, son of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and TV personality Sharon Osbourne, married Lisa in Hawaii in October 2012. The pair welcomed their daughter Pearl earlier that year, but in 2013 revealed that they had sadly lost their second child after Lisa suffered from a miscarriage.

In February 2015 they delighted fans by sharing the news online that Lisa was pregnant again. Reaching out to his 165,000 followers on Instagram, Jack posted a photo of the two important girls in his life – Lisa and toddler Pearl – and captioned it: "Supprise!!!!! #round2 #babyinbound."

In the sweet snap, fair-haired Pearl was pictured cuddling up to her mum and beaming out at the camera, while Lisa proudly showed off her burgeoning baby bump.
